Chester Ng began his martial arts journey since he was in elementary school in Hong Kong. At a young age, martial arts TV and films inspired Chester to join a local Taekwondo school.
After years of Taekwondo training, Chester decided to diversify his martial arts experience. He chose Shaolin Kung Fu due to its unique and well-rounded curriculum, enriched with an extended period of cultural history, and with a strong emphasis on external power and internal strength.
In 2011, Chester of his martial arts journey with Shifu Zhou at the Seattle Shaolin Kung Fu Academy. To enhance his vision and challenge himself to the next level, Chester has been competing in various martial arts tournaments in different countries including USA, Canada, and Hong Kong and has won several gold medals and grand championship.
Practicing martial arts is a life-long process and has become a significant part of his life. Chester truly enjoys his learning experience with Shifu Zhou while assisting other students in the class.
Suresh Balaji
Suresh Balaji started in 1994 as a professional chess player in India, he has won 4 times as inter school champion and 4 times as inter school team champion. He represented home district 4 times in state level tournaments and represented home district twice at national level competitions. From 2000 to 2012 he worked as a professional chess arbiter and a member of the All India Chess Foundation. In 2004 he began coaching chess to children. In 2017 he moved to the U.S. and started coaching in 2018. He teaches children from Elementary to middle school and is an expert at teaching beginners and novices. He is an expert at teaching techniques, tactics, and introductory concepts. His specialties in chess is during the endgame.
